Busy actress and mum Jennifer Garner is going by a new alias - successful businesswoman
13 GOING ON 50! 'I'm just getting started!'

Even when she was going through her painful split from ex-husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner somehow managed to stay upbeat.

"He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy,” the actress said philosophically when the ink was hardly dry on the couple's divorce papers.

With an outlook like that, it should be no surprise that the Hollywood A-lister is approaching her 50th birthday with the same buoyancy.

"I'm excited,” the mother-ofthree shares of her milestone anniversary coming up on April 17.

"I like it! I don't know why I'm surprised that I'm turning 50, but I do have the sense of, 'What the heck? It's really here?'

"I like the idea that, all of a sudden, I'm allowing myself to believe that I know what I know. It's empowering!"

Fifty is an age when many people take stock of just how far they've come - but for Jennifer, it's not just about celebrating everything she's achieved in her life so far, but also a palpable excitement for the possibilities of the future.

The actress - still in the midst of raising her three children with Ben, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10 - decided, in her forties, to become an entrepreneur.

“I had several false starts," says Jennifer of her search for a business she felt she could believe in.
