Are you happy and healthy? Thank your gut! Every minute of every day, billions of bacteria are working tirelessly in your digestive system to fight off inflammation that can lead to illness and disease. When the good guys prevail, all is well. But if harmful bacteria get a foothold, watch out.

Along with more obvious issues like tummy bloat or constipation, a gut that’s out of whack can leave you vulnerable to infections, low energy, heartburn, allergies, frequent colds and skin problems like acne or eczema. It can cause foggy thinking, weight-loss woes, even anxiety and depression. Gastrointestinal health experts believe there might also be a link between poor gut health and some autoimmune diseases.
