Punk princess: CHARLENE WON'T BE TAMED
She sent shock waves through the establishment with a daring new hair cut, but ‘chic punk’ Princess Charlene of Monaco doesn’t seem to care.

The 43-year-old attended a children’s party with her head shaved closely on one side, with a sleek, gelled lock of hair on the other, and she has now revealed that it was her decision and her husband, Prince Albert, has grown to like it.

A close friend of the royal family says, “Princess Caroline nearly choked on her pearls when she saw Charlene’s dramatic new hairdo.

“She’s doing a Britney on us,” Caroline told her pals. The 64-year-old Princess of Hanover is not known for being friendly towards her glam sister-in-law.

Strikingly sculpted and elegant, Charlene’s message to her critics is, “I can even shave my head and look fantastic.” She is totally committed to her public royal duties, but when it comes to her appearance, she does as she likes.

The insider adds, “Charlene loves changing her hair and dress style, playing with her image, just for the shock value. She’s hired her own stylists, often South African, casually shrugging off the unwritten rules that only Chanel and Dior are good enough for Monaco.

“Charlene doesn’t speak out often, which makes a recent frank interview all the more remarkable. Instead, she makes dramatic statements with her clothes and mane.
