Royally Relaxed! Harry's New Happiness

It’s the end of an era. He will always be a prince – despite recently telling people, “Just call me Harry,” – but Prince Harry is this week completing his final duties as a working member of the royal family, and is about to go down a whole new path with his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

People who’ve seen Harry up close as he’s got on with his last engagements say he seems very relaxed. Even from the very first engagement he undertook after news broke that he and Meghan were quitting as senior royals, he seemed “demob-happy” tells one royal commentator.

“It was like old times when he used to clown about and indulge in banter. It looked as if, now that he had finally made the decision and it had been made public, he could breathe and get on with life. ”

One of the reasons Harry (35) may be looking a lot less stressed than he has been in recent months is the fact that he’s been able to have a heartto-heart chat with the Queen, and she has told him that if he and Meghan (38) ever want to rejoin the royal fold, they will be welcomed with open arms.

According to The Sun, the monarch has accepted the couple will be living in Canada with their son Archie (10 months) although she’s “very sad” that she will see little of them.

“It’s fair to say she is very upset about him and Meghan leaving and she would love to see more of Archie, as would Prince Charles and the rest of the family,” says a source. “But she accepts at the moment his mind is made up and he intends to live in North America.”
