Having hosted the show together for over a decade, it’s hard to imagine This Morning without Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. After all, their on-screen chemistry has drawn in millions of viewers over the years. But with Holly taking increasing amounts of time off recently to film other projects and fans appearing to often favour stand-in presenters, such as Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, could the golden duo’s time be up?
Unhappy viewers
They may have been firm fixtures since 2009, but it seems viewers are beginning to tire of Phil and Holly – especially considering Holly has taken so much time off lately to film Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof and The Games.
One viewer observed, ‘Holly’s barely been on so far this year,’ while another added, ‘What a surprise, Holly off once again. Is she ever planning on working a full week this year?’ And one fan even admitted that they prefer the show when Friday’s presenter Alison Hammond is hosting, commenting, ‘I so prefer Alison to Holly on This Morning. Holly is so bland and robotic. Phil and Holly’s days are numbered.’
