When it comes to self-promotion in the land of telly, there’s no better vehicle than ITV’s Loose Women. But a high-profile panel of feisty ladies with differing views is likely to spark fireworks backstage.
It’s little wonder that, behind the showbiz glitz, rumours of toxic rivalry and clashing egos are rife, with many pointing the finger at long-standing panellist, Coleen Nolan.
AVOIDANCE TACTICS
It’s been claimed that singer Coleen, 56, has fallen out with a slew of celebrities over the years, including having a blazing on-screen row with cleaning guru Kim Woodburn in 2018. But the latest incident is said to involve actor Nadia Sawalha, 57.
Herself a Loose Women veteran, Nadia is believed to be fed up with Coleen, and has instructed producers to ensure that they are never scheduled to appear on the show simultaneously. Indeed the pair haven’t appeared alongside one another in many months.
The first whiff of a rift was aired by Coleen’s agent Melanie Blake, who called Sawalha a ‘total witch’ on social media last year, prompting the actor to unfollow the singer. Ms Blake has since denied allegations of a feud – as has Coleen herself, saying, ‘I get on with all of them, I would never refuse to work with anybody.’ But the rumours persist.
Reports also suggest that, at the time, popular panellist Stacey Solomon, 32, also wasn’t keen to work with Coleen when her maternity leave finished last month.

Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly.
