Bulbs for AUTUMN COLOUR

Pop-up power

Autumn-flowering bulbs and corms lie dormant over summer and come out to play in the cooler months, just when the garden needs an injection of colour. Simple to grow and hassle-free, they ask little more than well-drained soil and sun or partial shade. For an impressive display, be bold with numbers – plant at least 25-50 of small bulbs like cyclamen or colchicum. For large, showy flowers, such as nerines, go for at least 5-7.
