GOLDEN FLAPJACKS
These are buttery and sweet and oh-so good!
MAKES 12 OAT BARS
150g (5oz) butter
150g (5oz) golden syrup
150g (5oz) demerara sugar
250g (9oz) gluten-free porridge oats
You will need:
20cm/8” square baking tray, greased
1 Preheat oven to 150C/Gas 2. Put the butter, golden syrup and sugar into a saucepan and heat gently, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat, add the oats to the mixture, and stir to combine.
2 Tip the mixture into the prepared baking tray, smooth the top and bake for 45-50 mins.
3 Remove from the oven and, while still warm, cut into slices and leave to cool completely.
4 When cold, slice again and remove the squares from the dish. Store in an airtight container.

One slice won’t be enough of this delicious bake!

2tbsp coffee powder
2tbsp boiling water
200g (7oz) butter
200g (7oz) caster sugar
4 eggs
200g (7oz) gluten-free self-raising flour
250g (9oz) cream cheese
1tsp icing sugar
