The average age for the menopause is 51 – and around three-quarters of women have symptoms associated with it.

Sleep problems are common, along with night sweats and anxiety. Good-quality sleep is vital for physical and mental health, so try these tips to help:

ROUTINE Try to go to bed and get up at a similar time every day. The body responds well to a regular pattern.

EXERCISE Daytime exercise helps promote a healthy sleep pattern but, late at night, it can delay your ability to fall asleep.
