The judge has been rocked by some harsh comments from contestants and fans alike

As a MasterChef contestant himself, Andy Allen has always had the backing of his former cooking show comrades.

But in a shocking twist, the new judge, 32, has come under fire from eliminated star Chris Badenoch, 52, who hasn’t held back from making his true thoughts about the 2012 season winner known.

The seventh cook to be eliminated this year, Chris called into question Andy’s ability as a judge and slammed him for being nonsensical in his critiques.

“He’s commented on things I’ve cooked and when he’s walked away it’s like, ‘I have no idea what he said or what he meant.’ You almost need subtitles. I don’t get it!”
