Holed up in her home with just her kids, the once vivacious star has turned into a recluse

Angelina Jolie has had some of the showbiz industry’s most headline-grabbing relationships, so when she abruptly split from Brad Pitt in 2016, no one expected her to remain single for long – in fact, Hollywood was waiting with bated breath to see who she would rebound with.

After all, the 45-year-old’s been married to Billy Bob Thornton, dated actress Jenny Shimizu and has been linked to the likes of Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp throughout her time at the top of the A-list.

But surprisingly it’s been four years since she’s been seen on the arm of a beau, and potential suitors are hardly lining up around her palm-tree lined block to score a date with one of the most beautiful women in the world.

“She’s pretty much a recluse,” says a source, who adds that her only companions these days are her six children, Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

According to the insider, it’s her divorce with Brad, 57, and the ensuing custody battle that continues to drag on in the Los Angeles courts that’s wearing her down.

“It’ll take a real leap of faith for Angelina to trust her heart again,” says the source. “She really isn’t interested in interacting with people outside her immediate support system.”
