Could the A-lister be planning a permanent home Down Under?

When Julia Roberts agreed to star in Ticket To Paradise, she did so for two reasons – the first was to get in front the camera with her favourite co-star, George Clooney, and the second was because it was being filmed on some of Australia’s best beaches.

LA-based sources close to Julia reveal she was “in desperate need of a break from Hollywood – it’s relentless, and the idea of spending a few months in Queensland, getting some sun and working with George was irresistible”.

And as Woman’s Day’s exclusive photos show, she’s thrown herself into life on the Gold Coast, which is serving as base camp for her hotly anticipated rom-com about a divorced couple who travel to Bali to stop their daughter getting married.

The 54-year-old was spotted looking like a local as she took a long walk on the famed beach – where she even ran into longtime friend and heavyweight producer Tim Bevan.
