As David leaves her, a lonely Victoria goes on a bender

It’s been a wild year for Victoria Beckham, so it’s no wonder she was looking forward to a flute or two of champagne at the BAFTA afterparties to take the edge off.

After all, in recent months she’s hit headlines for her business struggles, the persistent rumours of her marriage to David being on the rocks, and there have even been accusations Prince Harry thought someone in Posh’s camp may have been selling stories to the British press about his wife Meghan.

But the trouble for Victoria, 45, began when she started knocking back way more than normal.

“After a few glasses, she got a bit mouthy,” says a source who also attended the British Vogue soiree in London, adding that Victoria’s A-list mates tried in vain to help her sober up.
