The happy family makes way for a lovely little boy

Of all the roles she’s played, there’s no doubt that motherhood has been Nicole Kidman’s favourite. But having turned 50 in June, the Australian actress was beginning to think her dream of expanding her family with Kiwi-born husband Keith Urban had slipped out of her grasp – until now.

In exciting news, Woman’s Day can reveal the delighted couple are expecting a much-longed-for son with the help of a surrogate! We are told the little brother for daughters Sunday Rose, nine, and Faith Margaret, six, is due next February.

“Nic and Keith couldn’t be happier,” a close friend of the thrilled couple reports, speaking exclusively to us. “It’s something they’ve talked about for a long time now and they have to pinch themselves that their dream is finally coming true.”

It’s not the first time the duo have turned to surrogacy to welcome a child, with Faith having been born via a gestational carrier. While they hoped to use the same woman again, Nicole and Keith were heartbroken when she turned them down.
