Courtship In Teenagers Create Problems Later On In Married Life
Woman's Era|April Second 2017

Nowadays courtship is not a new thing and not unusual. Courtship is very common among teenagers and usually starts as early as school days. Courtship is the period in a couple’s relationship which precedes their engagement and marriage or establishment of an agreed relationship of a more enduring kind. There are both positive and negative aspects of courtship.

Courtship In Teenagers Create Problems Later On In Married Life

Courtship among boys and girls gives them the opportunity to understand each other, their behaviour, attitude, temperament, family background and personal habits. During courtship, teenagers behave like love birds and many of them fall in love madly. During courtship they prefer to live together all the time except for the time they spend at home or hostel room, if they live in hostel. They sit together in classrooms, canteen and restaurants and prefer to sit or meet in lonely paces sometimes in a secluded place like bushes in a park, where no one can disturb them.

During this phase or period they become emotionally and physically attached. Emotional attachment is right but physical attachment becomes troublesome later on. Physical involvement means sexual involvement and it causes serious problems if they don't know the means of safe sex. Sometimes poor hygiene can cause infections the private parts and sometimes chances of pregnancy can create great problems. If after physical involvement they can't get married then at the time of marriage with another boy or girl, they develop a phobia regarding the issue of virginity specially among girls.
