The seventh edition of the International Symposium on Lighting (ISoL2023), organised by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) on April 20-21, 2023 concluded on a high note. Saurabh Dalela, Director, ICAT in his inaugural address, apprised the audience of the latest developments in automotive lighting technology. He highlighted the involvement of ICAT in the Research & Development (R&D) of cutting-edge, intelligent lighting technology. He emphasised that ICAT is ready to support OEMs and lighting component suppliers for their product development and certification needs. The ISoL-2023 was inaugurated in the presence of senior officials from the Government, including industry leaders that had representation from Automotive OEMs, lamp manufacturers, suppliers and academia. Industry leaders Shigeo Yamagishi san of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Deepak Jain, Chairman and Managing Director at Lumax, Dr J K Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Fiem Industries and Christoph, Hella Germany. Highranking officials from automotive OEMs including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hero Motor Corp, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki Two-wheelers, Ashok Leyland, and BMW were among the other attendees.
