Polestar: 'This is our moonshot'

Polestar will create a "truly" carbon-neutral production car by 2030 to sell as a limited-run EV.

Under the guise of Polestar O Project, the aim is to eliminate, "not reduce", all greenhouse gas emissions from every aspect of the car's production without the need to offset emissions through other means, such as planting trees.

"It's our moonshot," said the firm. "Many consider it impossible. We intend to make it happen."
