We get insights from from eight-time national champion and owner of Rayo Racing, Rayomand Banajee on taking the reigns of the Volkswagen Polo Cup

You've been associated closely with Volkswagen Motorsport India right from the program's inception - how does it feel to be helming operations after taking over the operations now?

I was on Track the very first day Volkswagen Motorsport brought the first Polo Cup Car for testing. Since then I haven't missed a single weekend of racing or testing, so the program has obviously been very close to my heart. With the end of production of the Polo, I wanted to ensure the program continued, especially since the program has given so much to Indian motorsport in the past decade. It is really an honour that Volkswagen trusted my abilities and the capabilities of Rayo Racing as an organisation to continue the program.
