FIM's MiniGP World Series India could be the perfect answer to promote two-wheeler grassroots racing in the country
CATCH THEM YOUNG!

While thrilling, motorsport has two clear hurdles: resources and an equitable platform, which tend to deter many from taking it up as a career. The FIM MiniGP World Series India looks promising for budding motorcycle racers though and could be a game changer for two-wheeler racing. The first-ever season just concluded and we just have to tell you everything about the platform!

What is it?

The India Series is part of the MiniGP World Series involving 15 nations. It has been launched by the FIM in conjunction with Dorna Sports, the promoters of MotoGP, as part of the first step in the Road to MotoGP'. It aims to offer a platform to young riders wanting to start racing. Marco Rossetto of RMS Motorsport and founder, FIM MiniGP India says, "India is a logical choice for the series considering the two-wheeler population. We plan to tap and harness the abundant racing talent here and hopefully produce a MotoGP rider in future."
