FMSCI celebrated its 2022 season with its Annual Awards function in Chennai where it crowned 118 national champions of the season over various categories. This included the likes of Arjun Balu winning the Indian Touring Cars championship, RE Rajendra winning the 2W INRC title, as well as Karna Kadur and co-driver Nikhil Pai who were crowned INRC champions. Aside from awarding champions, special awards were given to Bengaluru's Pragathi Gowda, the winner of the FIA Rally Star Asia-Pacific finale in Chennai, and Shriya Lohia who finished fifth at the FIA Girls On Track event in Paris, France.

2023 sees the FMSCI celebrate its 'Golden Jubilee' i.e. its 50th year in existence. They've come a long way since it was founded in the year 1971 to then being recognised by the Government of India as the sole authority to control and conduct motorsport events in India. Hopefully racing action in the country will be bigger and better across the country this year.&nbsp;
