Today every mass-market car manufacturer has multiple SUVs in its portfolio and one of the most prominent of the lot has to be Hyundai. The second largest carmaker in the country, Hyundai has always catered to segments in demand, offering SUVs across price brackets. While the sub-4 metre and mid-size SUVs are its high-selling models, the upper end of the spectrum has never really taken off for the manufacturer. The Tucson and the Santa Fe were offered across generations over the years but back that was at a time when the country wasn't quite ready for premium SUVs from Hyundai. This is set to change with the launch of the all-new Tucson though. Demand for premium SUVS is on the rise and with the arrival of the fourth-generation Tucson, the timing seems right for Hyundai to march right back into the segment.
