RACE THERAPY

After a long COVID-induced hiatus, Audi is back with its sportscar experience. Dubbed the Performance Weekend, it is a customer engagement program to showcase Audi's range of performance vehicles and also offer them an unfettered experience on the racetrack. We were invited to the Buddh International Circuit to get a taste of the experience.

After a quick briefing from ace rallyist and Audi instructor for the day, Sunny Kumar, we head to the paddock. The first thing that hits me as I enter the paddock is the sweet smell of unburnt fuel and rubber. Audi has the S5, RS5 and RSQ8 ready to hit the track, though I am keen on the RS e-tron GT parked in the corner. Sadly, that's not a part of the agenda and I will have to contend with Audi's other thoroughbred machines including some of its e-tron SUVs, but we will get to it later. First up is the RS5 Sportback.
