Reminiscing my time with Royal Enfield's retro scrambler

ROYAL ENFIELD SCRAM 411

Lifestyle motorcycles have to feel special, no? Something that tugs at your heartstrings not just when you ride it but also when you look at it. That’s the whole point of buying something more than a humdrum, fuel-efficient premium commuter. Royal Enfield has seemingly cracked the code then. Each motorcycle in its current lineup feels special. In fact, Ed came back from riding the Super Meteor 650 in Rajasthan and he had nothing but good things to say about the motorcycle.

The Scram 411 feels special. It has felt special from the moment I first saw it, till the time I had to return it with a heavy heart. With the Scram 411, Royal Enfield managed to make the Himalayan platform beautiful. Sure, the Himalayan is aesthetic in an industrial kind of way but it is the Scram 411 that turns heads. From the beautifully sculpted metallic headlamp cowl to the eye-catching red and white paintjob, it nails the minimalistic scrambler vibe.
