APPLE VISION PRO - THE FUTURE OF AUGMENTED REALITY

Ever since the term, 'Metaverse' has been buzzed for the first time, numerous changes have happened around us.

Companies are racing to launch their first product and sweep the market with the advantage of being 'first' in the novel industry. Facebook even changed its brand name to 'Meta' to gain the advantage of sounding similar to the technology and grabbing the intuitive advantage. Despite all these feats and stunts, companies haven't actually made real progress. Meta's Next VR Headset received wide range of criticism during its launch, since people didn't actually expect 'cartoonish' theme of the world.

Metaverse is widely theorized to influence and revolutionize the Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) space. Virtual Reality is a space which is completely computer-generated in which, the user will have a personal avatar which will interact with the virtual space. Whereas Augmented Reality (AR) is a fusion of real world with computer generated elements, in which the user himself can look at the real world, while also interacting with the computer-generated elements. Both of these technologies have their own challenges and real-life difficulties of ideation, creation, implementation and adoption. The extent of innovation and advancement in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) wearable technology has been explosive in the last five years alone.

But, Apple's brand-new innovation, Apple Vision Pro seems to be extending the limits of possibilities and increasing the size of yard stick against which future technologies will be measured.
