The glass, 30-ml, square bottles contain light-fast, pH-neutral inks suitable for most fountain pens. Twelve colors inspired by Van Gogh's palette are offered, from the ochre yellow Sunflower, to the blue Self-Portrait with its shading effects, to The Novel Reader with its bright green tones. France’s S.T. Dupont gives the classic styling of its Line D collection of writing instruments an ultra-modern facade with the new S.T. Dupont Carbon collection. The Carbon collection features a barrel body of light-weight, corrosion-resistant, color-added carbon fiber matched to a matte black finish on the brass body of the oversize Line D pen. The pen cap displays the atelier’s prowess at microdiamond-head guilloche engraving; it also features an engraved D” cap finial and an articulated clip with the Dupont blazon. Three carbon fiber colors are offered: the white and black graining of Dark Storm far left); Fiery Lava’s blazing black, red, and gray left); and the swirling blue, gray and black of Glacial Cave. The S.T. Dupont Line D Carbon collection is available as a rollerball or cartridge/converter-filling fountain pen with a 14 karat gold ruthenium-plated nib in extra-fine, fine, medium, or broad.
