Travel is a TransformaTive journey of relaxaTion, culTural discovery and personal growTh. It allows me to disconnect from work and immerse myself in the history of new places, often alongside my wife Aakriti and daughter Arzoie. I prefer light travelling, relying on essential accessories like my iPad, glasses and fanny pack. My travel wish list includes Amsterdam and Mexico. And if I could take anyone on a world tour, it would be Aakriti.
I favour sightseeing over shopping and enjoy easy weekend getaways more than luxurious vacations. While I cherish places like Melbourne, London, Dubai and Goa, my worst travel experience was in Singapore. I lost my luggage there. Luckily for me, my lost baggage didn't have any essentials.
Aakriti is the most enthusiastic about planning our trips and I’ve learnt valuable lessons about packing, keeping my hands free while traveling and choosing the right luggage.
Food experiences, like savouring fish and chips in London and local dishes in Udaipur, enrich my travels. I always pack my soap and running shoes, ensuring I'm prepared for any adventure. A memorable moment was in Udaipur, where I truly felt rejuvenated. If I could choose an exotic destination, it would be the Gold Coast in Australia. A trip to South Africa introduced me to avocado and a healthier lifestyle, leaving a lasting impact on my perspective.
After a hectic few months filled with back-to-back shoots and promotions for Stree 2, Berlin and my music album Zaroor, I decided it was time for a muchdeserved break. The positive response from the audience and my peers made this getaway all the more necessary.
