Huma Qureshi has learned to bank on herself. Time and again, her bold choices have come through and made the audience glimpse a new facet of her. She's as comfortable playing a femme fatale in Monica, O My Darling, as she is playing a grassroots politician in Maharani. Her 10 year career in Bollywood has seen her grow into a formidable actress. Be it a hugely mounted commercial vehicle or a small art house production, she believes in giving it her all. Presenting excerpts from an interview with the actress who doesn't sugar coat her opinions...
You were among the first actors to take on an OTT project. Leila was followed by Maharani. How much of an impact did OTT have on your career?

And I was liks when such good work is happening on OTT, we’ll miss out if we don’t hurry up and do it. I believe I made the correct choice because I now believe OTT is a key source of entertainment and quality material. I believe both are critical.
How has cinema altered in recent years, particularly for actresses?
