A NOTORIOUS bear nicknamed Hank the Tank that’s been gleefully burglarizing homes in an upscale California community has finally been nabbed — but managed to beat a mandatory death sentence for her crimes!
After authorities used DNA matches to pin at least 21 home break-ins and extensive property damage over the past year on the foxy female black bear, formally registered as 64F by the Department of Fish and Wildlife, game wardens commuted the critter’s sentence due to her celebrity status.
