DOGS SAVE TOT LOST IN WOODS

A LOVING pair of family pooches protected two-year-old Thea Chase during eight dangerous nighttime hours in the wild, wolf- and cougar filled woods after the tot wandered away from her rural home.

Thea, her mom Brooke, 25, dad Alex, 24, and year-old brother Ryker were staying with the girl’s Uncle Marcus at his home near the remote village of Faithorn in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Thea was “shadowing” her uncle while he worked in the yard when her mom suddenly realized — in heart-stopping terror — her precious baby girl had vanished about 7 p.m. on Sept. 20.
