SINGING sex symbols Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck have been bitter rivals for some 60 years and instead of mellowing as senior citizens, the feuding crooners have become even more vicious toward each other.

Just six months ago, Engelbert, 88 and best known for his 1967 hit Release Me, triggered a new round in their war of words by saying: “I think he’s lost his voice. I don’t think he’s got it anymore.”

The slam festered with Delilah sensation Tom, 84, who recently fired back calling his rival a “pr**k!”

“There’s nothing friendly about him and I … We fell out years ago. He’s tried, but I won’t talk to him,” says Jones.

Ironically, the She’s a Lady singer recently revealed he’s careful about his vocal cords, saying: “I sleep on my side, but I tape my mouth up.
