Family freaked when dog came home without her

A SAVAGE 10-foot alligator mauled a granny to death while she was walking her dog near a sleepy South Carolina lagoon behind her house — and the gargantuan gator guarded her body so rescuers could not get to her to help!

Grandma Holly Jenkins, 69, was pronounced dead at the scene at the Spanish Wells residential community, though her managled remains were identified by the Hilton Head island coroner.

Holly’s family — who were visiting for the July 4 holiday — knew something was seriously wrong when the woman’s dog came home without her after an early morning walk, says Sheriff’s Department Major Angela Viens.

The family spread out to look for her — and came upon the horrifying carnage by the edge of the lagoon!
