Curtain rises on dueling divas in racial dispute
LUPONE BOOED IN B'WAY BATTLE!

THE biggest drama on Broadway these days is happening offstage as dueling divas face off in a dust-up that has ripped apart the tight-knit theater community!

The ruckus erupted when Tony winner Kecia Lewis called out Broadway grande dame Patti LuPone in an Instagram video for being racially insensitive.

The squabbling songbirds are currently performing in adjacent theaters — Lewis, 59, is starring in Hell’s Kitchen, a musical loosely based on Alicia Keys’ life, at the Shubert, while LuPone, 75, is appearing in a quiet two-person drama, The Roommate, with Mia Farrow, at the neighboring Booth Theatre.
