Experts reveal the tiny vessel’s carbon fiber-titanium-composite hull had to be rebuilt in 2020 after tests showed “cyclic fatigue” only two years after tour operator OceanGate’s director of marine operations, David Lochridge, was fired for complaining about “a lack of non-destructive testing performed on the hull of the Titan.”
