COUNTING DOWN TO THEIR TENTH ANNIVERSARY RACHEL RILEY IS JOINED BY PROUD HUSBAND PASHA AS SHE ADDS TO HER HONOURS WITH AN M.B.E.

It was a love story that began ten years ago in the famous ballroom of Strictly Come Dancing, when Pasha Kovalev and Rachel Riley first set eyes on each other.

And last week, the couple had a very special date to mark their anniversary – at Windsor Castle.

Looking the proudest of husbands, 43- year-old professional dancer Pasha watched on as the Countdown  star, 37, received an MBE from the King for her work to raise awareness of the Holocaust and to combat antisemitism.

After the ceremony, Rachel – who wore a dress by Suzannah London – said: “It’s really special. The King is a big advocate for all faiths and inter-faith relations; it’s one of his passion projects. He was genuinely interested in what I’ve done to deserve [the medal]. Now I need to earn it.”

As well as Pasha, Rachel was joined by her parents – her father Christopher and mother Celia, whose family emigrated from Russia during the pogroms.

Rachel has shared her own experience of social media trolling she has received as a public figure.
