Theirs is the love story that has dominated Theirs is the love story woad. As das Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce start planning celebrations to mark their first year as a couple, their relationship appears to be growing stronger by the day, with many predicting that it could end in marriage.
The couple first sparked dating rumours last September after the singer attended a Kansas City Chiefs American football match, watching Travis play in his tight end offensive position.
"We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date," Taylor has said, however, and it has since emerged that the fairytale romance began when the singer, 34, learnt that Travis had spoken on an episode of The Pat McAfee Show podcast about wanting to meet her.
The NFL star confessed his wish after seeing her perform an Eras Tour concert at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, his team's home base a year ago and the singer said she thought the gutsy move was "metal as hell".
While they did not meet then, Travis's teammate Patrick Mahomes has said: "I like to take some of the credit.
"I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert. He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker.
"I was like: 'Dude, you should go for it.' And you know Travis, man. He does it. He's a great dude.
I'm glad it's all worked out for the best," he said.
"We started hanging out right after that," Taylor told Time magazine. "So we actually had a significant amount of time when no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other."
