While on the outs with the rest of the royals, Prince Harry remains close to cousin Princess Eugenie!

It was exciting news. On Jan. 24, Princess Eugenie announced that she and husband Jack Brooksbank, 36, are expecting their second child. But cousin Prince Harry knew long before the rest of the world. “He was one of the first people she told,” reveals an insider, adding that Harry and wife Meghan Markle “couldn’t be happier for them. They immediately sent over some organic baby clothes with a handwritten note of congratulations.”

It’s par for the course for the royal relatives. Despite Harry’s drama with the rest of their family, the 38-yearold and Eugenie, 32, have maintained the close bond that was forged when their mothers — Sarah, Duchess of York, 63, and the late Princess Diana — used to set up playdates at Kensington Palace in London. “They always have each other’s back,” says the insider of the duo, who used to “race bikes and climb trees” together as kids. “Harry and Eugenie are still as thick as thieves.”
