Mutt breaks out of pound to care for frail seniors!
DOGGONE AMAZING!

A DOGGED mutt repeatedly escaped from an animal shelter to visit the elderly at a Michigan nursing home — and found his fur-ever home!

The persistent pooch, now known as Scout, arrived at the Antrim Animal Control Shelter in Traverse City a mystery mongrel. No one knew anything about him, other than he had buckshot pellets embedded in his snout.

Although he was skittish, Scout had enough gumption to pull off a string of daring escapes — breaking out of the shelter in the dead of night, climbing a ten-foot chain-link fence and a six-foot privacy fence and crossing a busy highway before he strolled through the automatic doors of the Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility, where he plopped down on a couch and went to sleep.

After being returned to the shelter twice, the third time was the charm for the determined dog!
