Adele has sparked concern among fans that she could pull out of her upcoming European shows, following a string of cancelled dates during her Las Vegas residency. And, according to a source, the 35-year-old is worried about letting concert-goers down.
The singer postponed all her March concerts at Caesars Palace due to illness. She announced she’d been advised to rest by doctors and confirmed the news on Instagram. She wrote, “Sadly, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency.
“I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately it’s taken a toll on my voice. And so on doctor’s orders I have no choice but to rest thoroughly.
“The remaining 5 weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date.”
However, with no update yet on the singer’ health, fans are worried she could cancel her upcoming shows in Germany. In fact, Adele has failed to sell out the tour that will see her play 10 dates in Munich in August, with rumours circulating that fans are hesitant to spend money in case it doesn’t go ahead.
One fan voiced their concerns online, saying, “Don’t postpone Munich please. I spent a lot on accommodation and flight tickets.” Another questioned, “Any updates soon? We need to plan and it’s impossible to do if we don’t have new dates. Leaving us in limbo is unfair.”
