Annie Kilner and her Manchester City footballer husband Kyle Walker are still living separately, as they try desperately to mend their troubled marriage.
After details of a bitter court battle with his ex-mistress, Lauryn Goodman, emerged last week, a source tells new that Annie, 32, and Kyle are hoping to finally “draw a line” under the drama.
They told us that, while Annie remains in the family home with the couple’s four young boys, 34-year-old Kyle is staying nearby, where he has been since it emerged that he had fathered a second child with Lauryn, 33.
“They’re not living under the same roof at the moment, but they’re living very close to each other and they’re very much co-parenting together while they work on their own issues as a couple separately,” the source said.
“Obviously, the last few months since they initially split back in January have been tumultuous for them, between working on their marriage, making sure they are doing their best for their children, Kyle’s career and Annie being at home with the kids.
“They’re now in a position where they’re hoping things die down a bit and they’ve got some time and space to think what the next steps in their marriage will be.”
Last week, Judge Edward Hess ruled that details of the family court dispute between Lauryn and Kyle could be made public, despite objections from Lauryn, who was asking the court to instruct her ex to pay £14,750 a month in “global” child maintenance, as well as thousands of pounds for nursery fees, cars and property maintenance.
