Just a few months ago, Coleen Nolan vowed to turn her life around following a terrifying health scare.
The 59-year-old suffered an acute chest infection which made if difficult for her to breathe and she was forced to quit smoking after 40 years.
Then, Coleen was hit with another huge blow - she was told she was at risk of getting type 2 diabetes and doctors strongly advised her to move more and eat better. Since then, she has made big changes to her food habits -including a healthy plant-based diet, which has seen her losing two stone.
Coleen also revealed she underwent dental work to completely transform her smile and she now has bespoke ceramic veneers, a move she has dubbed "the best thing I ever did".
Now, as the Loose Women panellist plans for a healthier, happier future - which includes celebrating her daughter Ciara's wedding and planning a life together with long-term boyfriend Michael Jones - she has reportedly never felt better about herself.
"Coleen has a new lease of life since finally quitting smoking, meeting Michael, going vegan and losing weight," a source said. "She feels like she's putting herself first for once and really looking after herself and that is showing to everyone."
Coleen recently confirmed on Instagram that her daughter Ciara Fensome is engaged to Max Innes, and announced she was “off to buy a hat” for their special day. But before Max popped the question, 22-year-old Ciara purchased a “one-way ticket” to travel the world with him – and Coleen admitted to struggling with “empty nest” syndrome.
