Tributes poured in for Gogglebox star George Gilbey after he tragically died following a workplace accident last week.
The TV personality, who was a self-employed electrician, sadly passed away at just 40 years old after reportedly falling from a great height and suffering fatal injuries.
"A man in his forties has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter in connection with the death of Gogglebox star George Gilbey who died after a fall at work, Essex Police said," PA reported.
George was known for his quick wit, unique sense of humour and loving relationship with his mum Linda and stepdad Pete McGarry - who he appeared alongside in the Channel 4 reality show and he leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter, Amelie.
Just days before the Essexborn star's death, the devoted dad shared a photo of his daughter, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Gemma Conway, on his Instagram account. George posted the snap of Amelie smiling while posing with a bouquet of flowers. He then captioned it with smiley and heart emojis.
