Following reports that Katie Price is house-hunting for her “dream home”, a source has told new that the former glamour model is looking for a “fresh start”.
Katie, 45, has lived in her Sussex home since 2014. Now she is said to be looking for a change of scenery after a tough decade in the property she dubbed Mucky Mansion.
“Katie really wants out of Mucky Mansion,” the source claimed. “She calls it the ‘house of horrors’ because she has so many bad memories there. She feels like it’s haunted by exes – she hates it.”
Mother-of-five Katie moved into the home with her former husband Kieran Hayler, but they split four years later following a slew of infidelity allegations against Kieran.
Katie’s on and off ex-fiancé Carl Woods also lived in the 19-room home from 2020 until last year, when they parted ways for good after a tumultuous romance.
With the house serving as a constant reminder of her past relationships, Katie is said to be looking to swap Sussex for West Yorkshire.
And as things get more serious with her boyfriend JJ Slater, who she went public with in February, she is said to be hoping to settle down with him by her side.
The source claimed, “A new place would be like a clean slate for Katie, and she wants to bring JJ along too. They’re going really well and she wants to tie him down with a house and make new memories with him in it.”
