Failing to attend her bankruptcy court hearing last week could result in Katie Price being sent to jail, but a source claims the former glamour model is focusing on happier things with her boyfriend JJ Slater.
Katie, 46, flew to Turkey last week with her MAFS beau, and photos later emerged of her wearing a surgical gown and preparing to go under the knife for a facelift.
However, her absence from last Tuesday’s court hearing didn’t go down well with judge Catherine Burton, who issued an arrest warrant for the mum-of-five after she failed to show up despite “very clear warnings”.
While Katie now deals with the consequences of not appearing in court, a source claims she won’t let any of the legal drama get in the way of her happy ending with 31-year-old JJ.
“She’s happier than ever with JJ. She wouldn’t want to lose him if she went to prison, so she’d very willingly seal the deal from there, even if it wasn’t the wedding she might have hoped for,” the source claimed. “She’s said she’s found her soulmate so she wouldn’t want to lose that, so she’d absolutely marry JJ behind bars.”
“She’d love to marry him wherever she was and whatever was happening,” they claimed. “She loves being married so she’d happily say ‘I Do’ from prison.”
The source said JJ, who appeared on Married At First Sight UK last year, has been a strong support to Katie during her legal troubles with HMRC.
