He shocked Love Island fans in July when he announced he and girlfriend Millie Court had split up, a year after they both won the hit reality dating show. But Welsh heart-throb Liam Reardon exclusively tells new that a reconciliation with Millie isn't completely off the cards.
The bricklayer recently joined the Celebs Go Dating agency to "take his mind off the break-up". But he admits that although he was hurt by the split from Millie, 25, he doesn't see the separation as final, and describes her as wife material. On whether they could get back together in the future, Liam says, "Never say never. Maybe one day in the future, we'll rekindle."
Here, the 23-year-old talks to new about what happened with Millie, why he felt he lost direction in life for a little while and who he flirted the most with in the CGD agency...
Hi, Liam! Why did you want to join the agency?
I was in two minds about joining because I'd come out of serious relationship. I was very much still hurt. But I thought it'd be a step forward for me, and it definitely has been. Being around the other celebs and being on this journey with them has taken mind off the break-up. It's going back into a dating environment without it being too serious in the real world. I've had advice along the way and it's just been a great experience. I've made great friends as well.
Did the break-up with Millie knock your confidence?
Yeah, the break-up hurt both of us. Love Island has been a crazy whirlwind. Maybe I've gone off track a little bit and wanted to steer myself back on track. It probably did knock my confidence, especially this past year. I think I'm a lot more confident in myself now and I'm getting back to the old way I was.
