'Scarlette would try to break down barriers'

Scarlette Douglas' brother Stuart tells us what his sister is really like, what she's missing and why she will win

Bubbly Scarlette Douglas is proving popular with her I'm A Celebrity... co-stars and viewers B at home as she fits in with her campmates perfectly.

The TV presenter's brother Stuart, 44, says, despite Scarlette being nine years his junior and seven years younger than their middle sibling Andrew, she has always shown her two brothers who's boss.

Stuart tells new, "If she wants something, she'll try and get it and she'll work hard for it. Her tenacity she showed as a child is the same today.

"She would always hold her own and she's got an extremely good work ethic."

Property developer Stuart works with Scarlette, 35, on Channel 4 property show, Worst House On The Street - and he's witnessed his sister being "hangry" regularly on set.

He says, "Scarlette likes her food - she can get hangry, that's for sure. I can be quite good without food. I always wind her up when we're working together. I always say, 'Is it time to eat now, Scarlette?!'"
