At just 29 years old, Georgia Harrison has had to endure more heartache than most.
But as she proved when she won the latest series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, alongside pro boxer Lani Daniels, she's got fighting spirit by the bucketload.
In 2020, she became a victim of revenge porn, when her Celebrity Big Brother star ex Stephen Bear secretly filmed them having sex and shared the video online. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison last March, but was released early in January this year.
After bravely waiving her right to anonymity, Georgia - who has also starred on The Only Way Is Essex and Love Island - then filmed her experience for the powerful ITV documentary, Revenge Porn: Georgia Vs Bear.
But she has faced other tragedies in life, including the loss of her childhood best friend Cenk Fahri to leukaemia in December 2021, and then exboyfriend Jake McLean in a car crash in July 2022. Now that she has come through the other side, and is feeling proud of everything she's achieved, Georgia says she's determined to "make a difference"...
Hi, Georgia! Huge congrats on winning Celebrity SAS...
Thank you. Obviously, winning the process was brilliant, but it wasn't until I watched the show that I realised just how proud I am of myself. It was one of the best moments of my life.
Did you learn a lot about yourself during the show?
I learnt how mentally strong I can be. It was such an emotional experience. I had to constantly overcome thoughts of wanting to quit, so it tested my mental strength and willpower. Watching back, I see how resilient I am. Now I feel like I can handle most situations that come at me in life. It really strips you of your ego, especially being interrogated.
Did you have to face a lot of demons?
