Victoria Beckham sang "friendships never end..." in her Spice Girls days. But sadly for Posh, that doesn't seem to be the case when it comes to the Duchess of Sussex. Meghan reportedly fell out with Victoria after what was described as a "tense phone call" between their husbands concerning VB's alleged "indiscretions".
And in a new twist, a source exclusively told new that not only is there no hope of a reconciliation between the former friends, the accusations provoked Victoria to swiftly call time on their friendship before Meghan had a chance to do so. And to add salt to Meghan's wounds, Victoria has apparently already switched allegiance to the Princess of Wales.
The original claims were made by royal author Tom Bower in his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors. He wrote that Harry's "instability" fed Meghan's "fears that friends were leaking stories to the media".
Meghan "suspected Victoria of indiscretion" Tom went on to say, adding, "Harry called David Beckham to repeat the accusation. Outraged, Beckham's truthful denials damaged their relationship."
Our source told us, "Ever since the accusations, Victoria hasn't wanted to be involved with Meghan at all. Victoria is actively choosing to end their friendship and it will never recover."
The 49-year-old pop star turned designer is now thought to be aligning herself even more closely with Kate. She and David have a long history with William and Kate and attended their wedding back in 2011. The Beckhams then returned the favour by inviting the royal pair to their son Brooklyn's big day with Nicola Peltz in April last year. Sadly the couple were unable to attend.
