A source tells new that, despite airing their fiery arguments so publicly, Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch are stronger than ever

Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch don’t shy away from the intimate details of their 13-year marriage. But the couple’s most recent discussion about their heated rows was their biggest revelation yet.

Speaking on the couple’s Therapy Crouch podcast, the pair told fans that the 43-year-old footballer “punishes” Abbey after an argument. Abbey, 38, said, “If we go to bed not speaking, Pete puts pyjamas on. I’m delighted. I’m like, ‘Yes.’ I actually call them ‘the punishment pyjamas’ because it’s like I’m not allowed to see his naked body as punishment. It’s so funny.”

However, a source has now told us that talking so openly about their spats only shows how passionate Abbey and Pete’s relationship is and how much they care about each other.

“Abbey and Peter are such a great couple. Yes, they do have these furious, fiery rows as we saw when they discussed them in their recent podcast, they’re very open about that,” the source said. “They do row, but what married couple doesn’t?

“It’s clearly part of the dynamic of their relationship – and sometimes rows can be a good thing, especially when you can have a sense of humour like these two do.”

In fact, Abbey herself has opened up on how relatable their arguments are and has previously said their honesty has helped save marriages and relationships.
