She’s already won Celebrity Big Brother – now Charlotte Crosby is trying her hand at Celebrity MasterChef.
The Geordie Shore star – who has previously authored a recipe book – will be in the first heat against broadcaster Edith Bowman, This Morning’s Craig Doyle, Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins and BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy. Other stars taking part include Christine McGuinness, Vito Coppola and Danielle Harold.
Charlotte, 34, was feeling confident when the other celebs claimed to be clueless in the kitchen. However, soon she realised they were “a bunch of liars”! And things weren’t helped when she turned up hungover after enjoying a child-free date night with fiancé Jake Ankers.
However, in our exclusive chat, Charlotte reveals how 20-month-old Alba has changed her life, her plans to have three children and her dreams of a sunshine wedding in 2026.
Hi, Charlotte. Why did you go on Celebrity MasterChef?
I thought it would be a fun show to do. I like cooking. I thought I was really good. But yeah, you learn a lot when you’re there.
Is it tougher cooking in the MasterChef kitchen and is there more pressure?
There are just so many lights! It’s such a bright environment to film in and you feel completely under the spotlight. You can’t hide or escape from anything. Everyone sees everything you do, it’s nerve-wracking.
What were the celebrity contestants in your heat like?
Everyone was really nice, but I will admit, they all played down how good they were. Everyone was like, “Oh no, I’m not really that good” or “I can’t really cook”. So I was actually sitting there like, “I’ve won this, I’ve got this.” But they were all just lying! I can’t believe I actually fell for their lies. They were like Michelin-starred chefs.
What’s your cooking style like?
