Love potion
INGREDIENTS
4 large ripe strawberries, plus one to decorate
A large handful of crushed ice
60ml vodka
20ml sugar syrup
20ml grenadine
1. Muddle strawberries in a cocktail shaker with half the ice.
2. Add the vodka, sugar syrup and grenadine. Shake well.
3. Strain over the remaining ice, garnish with a heart-shaped strawberry.
Rock oysters with chilli and ginger
SERVES 2 AS A STARTER
INGREDIENTS
6 fresh, shucked oysters
Lemon, cut into quarters For the dressing:
2 cloves of garlic, minced
10p-sized piece of ginger, finely chopped
2 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 spring onions, finely sliced
1 red chilli, finely chopped
2 tbsp sesame oil
1.To make the dressing, mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Drizzle it over the oysters with a squeeze of lemon and serve immediately.
